MICROBIAL MOLD ASSESSMENTS

It is well established that excess moisture leads to the amplification of molds and mildew. A broad range of health problems, including infections and toxic effects, have been described as being related to mold exposures. Prime Consulting provides a team of qualified individuals that addresses the full spectrum of fungal problems in a coordinated manner.

Prime Consulting Inc. offers a variety of microbiological investigative services including the collection of bulk, surface samples and air sampling for both molds and bacteria. Prime Consulting uses only nationally accredited laboratories for sample analysis. Investigations are conducted by an Industrial Hygienist and reviewed by a Certified Industrial Hygienists following a very conservative approach. Recommendations are made following national guidelines. Because the field of microbiological  contamination is ever changing a slow cautious approach is taken to best serve the client. Our consulting services include:

  • Site Investigation

  • Viable Mold Spore Air sampling

  • Bulk and or Tape Sampling (mold)

  • Use of an AIHA Certified Lab

  • Provide Mold Remediation Guidelines Development

  • Project Management during remediation activities.

  • Post remediation verification sampling

  • Provide Mold Clearance Report

  • Provide Training 

Prime Consulting also provides assessment and sampling for water-derived pathogens such as Legionella bacteria in high-risk environments. Assessments include evaluation of HVAC cooling towers and potable water systems.
